Born under a bright shining star in the presence of three wise men and a virgin, the last of their kind in the South Island township of Ashburton, the enigma wrapped in a blanket of bullshit that is Hamish Gee meandered through school encountering only one interesting thing, that other enigma known as James Reid.
After a spectacular playground battle, the first of many, the two discovered a profound love of music and everything silly, so the formation of a band with quixotic ambitions was inevitable.
Whilst learning his craft at the School Of Jazz in Christchurch, wishing there was a School Of Rock, Hamish pulled together like minded scallywags including his long suffering busking pal, Reid, and on the eighth day, God created The Feelers.
Hamish likes cooking, Star Trek, his wife, their cat, turning light switches on and off repeatedly in hope of finding a perfect result, traveling and walks on the beach, not necessarily in that order.
